Inspired by a true story.
I woke up this morning and checked my weather app; a nippy 54° at 8am, with a high of 65° around lunchtime. I threw a beanie on, sure, mainly because my hair was a mess, and a slightly warmer than usual jacket. But then while running errands, I saw a guy in a full length coat and a scarf! In 64° weather! I like a little jacket and crisp air as much as the next fella, but come on! He was in line for the pharmacy at the grocery store, too. If he was in the freezer section, maybe that would explain it, maybe I could give him a pass. And before you say it, no, he didn’t look like he had a cold. This was a guy that liked to dress up. It takes one to know one!
You can look out the window in Los Angeles and not be able to gauge what the weather is… people’s outfits are all over the place. On the hottest day there’s a yoga mom in a quilted coat, and on the coldest there’s a guy in shorts and a vest.
And this is why we need Communism. Haha.
