Is it Good Friday?
It’s good every day.
Another silly one - it’s Good Friday and I’m on deadline! I like Jesus’ socks and dress shoes combo, it’s obviously not casual Friday.
Easter falls on 4/20 this year and I’m trying desperately to think of a joke that doesn’t conflate the two, or at least doesn’t conflate them in an obvious way - I don’t particularly enjoy marijuana humor!
A few years ago Easter fell on April Fool’s day and my cartoon, Jesus emerging from the cave to a stunned crowd with the caption “Jesus Christ! We thought you were dead!” is one of my finest. I’ll post it if I ever find it, I think it may have been drawn on a napkin.
I’ll let you know how I get on with J-Dawg honkin’ on a j-bird. Maybe “Let he who is without sin get Stoney baloney.” I’m still working on it.
