Phew! — I took a month long break from Substack, mainly due to being out of the country (Denmark), busy in New York (Comic Con) and stuck in an Irish pub lock-in (a very boozy night at DB Cooper’s in Hell’s Kitchen.) Then there was my birthday, and Halloween, and… listen, I was just living in the moment, maaan. Plus Meta was incentivizing ($) me to make reels as part of a three month program, but I had to do 20(!!) videos a month, and I honestly don’t have that much to say, so by the time I’d edited every mundane detail of my day into a 30 second clip, I couldn’t think of anything more to write. And I find it tricky to post videos on substack.
But I’m back now, Halloween is over, I’m another year older — I’m wiser and ready to resume whatever it is I was doing on here.
Maybe I’ll even recap some of this stuff I was up to on my month long sabbatical? Where’s the best Irish pub in Copenhagen? Whats Danish for “gluten free”? Check back in to find out!
In the meantime, here’s a cartoon about how it’s November.
Oh and to tie the title of this post back in to current affairs, my new Morrissey comic came out at NYCC and sold out immediately, but it’s restocked on my site if you’re interested! Ok! Talk to you tomorrow!
