Unhappy World Goth Day, everyone!
I don’t really have too much to do with Goth, my tastes are squarely in the middle of the Venn diagram of Goth and Punk; where punk bands started experimenting with synths and wearing trench coats and being a bit miserable and a bit angry but not dicking about with pentagrams or the Eye of Horus. Post-punk, the kids are calling it. I do like Siouxsie and The Cure, but both of them signed to major labels and went relatively mainstream. The Mancunian post-punks all stayed indie!
