People seemed to really like my “Comic About Nothing”, so I’m returning to the well with another old Seinfeld reference; an homage to Sgt. Pepper’s with every major, and some minor, characters from all 10 seasons.
This was one of the first things I created without a client, just with the intention of selling — because I was appearing at San Diego Comic Con and needed something to sell. I’m not thrilled with all the caricatures — I think the likenesses are pretty good, but my style has evolved since I drew this back in 2015… good grief, 10 years ago!
I think it looks cool in black and white.
I hate when social media “personalities”, and especially artists, have a hit with one thing and then keeping doing that thing over and over again, but it works for them and that’s why Nathan Pyle has a TV show. It sounds like a sensible business plan, sure.
If anything, I actively avoid doing anything that too many people will like. It keeps my work honest.
